Bay Area Medical Center renews contract for Zix Email Encryption in a three-year agreement

Zix Corporation (ZixCorp), (Nasdaq: ZIXI), a leader in email data protection, announced that Bay Area Medical Center has renewed its contract for Zix^TM Email Encryption in a three-year agreement. The healthcare organization has used Zix Email Encryption since 2004 to help meet compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

More than 200 organizations send and receive encrypted email with Bay Area Medical Center without taking any extra steps or entering passwords. Recipients who do not use Zix Email Encryption can exchange secure email through ZixPort^®, a mobile-friendly Web portal.
