Aternity Inc., the industry's leader in providing Workforce APM for any application running on physical, virtual, and mobile devices, announced that Maccabi Health Care Services has earned two healthcare IT awards for improving the End User Experience of its primary applications. The first award was bestowed by The Israel Association for Medical Information for Maccabi's innovative adoption and use of Aternity's Workforce APM platform. The second award was presented by The People (formerly known as People & Computers), a media and events producer for the Israeli Information and Technology communities. Maccabi earned The People's award within the IT Excellence competition, under the category of "Command and Control: Applicative Monitoring, Technological Infrastructure."

"The awards earned by Maccabi Health Care Services reflect both the excellent capabilities of Aternity's Workforce APM platform and its impressive contribution to the daily operation of the organization," said Dedy Dvorsky, manager of NessPRO, the software products group of Ness Technologies and Aternity's value-added distributor in Israel. "Aternity's ability to proactively detect performance issues empowers Maccabi to significantly reduce patient wait-time in clinics, and the time and resources allocated for troubleshooting application performance issues."

Maccabi provides healthcare services to one of every four people in Israel. Its client members have access to a full range of facilities, including public and private hospitals, clinics, dental offices, and pharmacies. The organization employs 3,500 physicians and operates over 160 clinics throughout Israel. Maccabi's heterogeneous IT environment includes a SAP® implementation and Microsoft® Office applications including SharePoint. Ensuring optimal End User Experience of all employees and associates involved in delivering patient services is a strategic imperative for Maccabi.

"Aternity's Workforce APM platform enables us to provide the best possible service to our members," said Aviram Agmon, CTO and IT infrastructure manager, Maccabi Health Care Services. "Aternity also enables us to proactively manage the delivery of our IT services, profoundly impacting the effectiveness of our IT operations and, as a result, of our entire organization."

Aternity works with leading healthcare organizations across the globe, and recently published a 60-second video featuring Sharp HealthCare. With Aternity, Sharp HealthCare proactively manages the deployment, adoption, and on-going use of their critical clinician applications.
