BIT Group opens new R&D Center of Excellence in the US

BIT Group has announced the opening of its new 22,500 sq. ft. "Center of Excellence for Life Science and IVD Products" for BIT USA. A world leader in contract development of IVD products, BIT Group operates two distinct BIT USA facilities - one that is focused on R&D and the other which is dedicated to instrument manufacturing and after sale services. The new Center of Excellence is located close to the Santa Ana Airport in the heart of the Irvine Spectrum district, while the manufacturing facility is less than an hour away in nearby San Diego.

The BIT USA R&D Center of Excellence boasts innovative capabilities for developing instrument prototypes; advanced 3D printing capabilities for rapid prototyping; and a dedicated CNC machine shop. Additionally, the new facility houses a wet lab - where instruments can be operated using customers' reagents and samples, an EMC-shielded test room, optical and electronic lab.
