HCR ManorCare opens new post-acute health care center in Ohio

HCR ManorCare announces the opening of Heartland of Twinsburg, its 47^th post-acute health care center in the state of Ohio. The state-of-the-art 120-bed center is located in Twinsburg and will provide employment to more than 150 people when the facility reaches full capacity.

Heartland of Twinsburg features 24-hour skilled nursing care and medically complex and intensive rehabilitation services for short-term patients transitioning from hospital to home. "Rehabilitation and skilled medical care are important to the recovery process following an illness, injury or surgery," said Joe Wilson, administrator of the new facility. Heartland of Twinsburg will also feature MedBridge, a unit dedicated to short-term stays. "MedBridge offers a higher level of skilled care and rehabilitation delivered by specialized staff designed to help patients reach their goals faster," said Wilson.

The multi-million dollar, two-story facility features a state-of-the-art therapy gym, spacious private and semi-private rooms with flat screen televisions and telephone service, WiFi service, attractive social areas and multi-purpose rooms, and personal care services including a salon and spa services.
