SCI Logistics announces official opening of new healthcare-dedicated facility in Canada

New 78,000 square-foot facility focused on providing national supply chain services to health industry

SCI Logistics today announced the official opening of a new facility dedicated to fulfilling highly specialized requirements to the health care industry.

The new 78,000 square-foot multi-client facility provides nation-wide supply chain services to medical device, drug, and natural health product suppliers. It is compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulations established by Health Canada. Based on the early market response, SCI forecasts to ship over 3.5 million units from the facility within the first 12 months of operation.

The facility offers services including inbound inspection, segregation of material, kitting, and product disposition. Validated warehousing management system, validated temperature and humidity monitoring and control system provide clients with real-time data for the storage of their products. Other services include coordinating third-party laboratory analytical testing, managing a retention sample program, and supporting product launches on behalf of clients.
