Blue Jay Wireless to be entertainment sponsor for Make-A-Wish North Texas event

Blue Jay will serve as the entertainment sponsor for Make-A-Wish North Texas' Delicious Wishes event on August 16, 2016. Blue Jay made the commitment based on their goal to improve the lives, health, and dreams of children who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses. As the socially conscious technology provider, joining forces with nonprofits like Make-A-Wish is important to creating the social change at the heart of the Blue Jay mission.

Make-A-Wish is not just about giving the children a break from their medical protocols; it is about making them healthier and happier children. 89% of the health care professionals surveyed in a nation-wide survey of the Make-A-Wish community agree that the wish experience can influence the children's physical health. Parents of these children also noted an increased willingness to comply with the treatment protocols and increases in their children's emotional health.

"Make-A-Wish does incredible work, and joining with them is another step in the Blue Jay effort to serve our communities at every level", explains Community Relations Manager, Shannon Davis. The Delicious Wishes event will help raise funds and awareness for the children who work with Make-A-Wish. Blue Jay is proud to be an important part of this event and the mission behind it.
