Gemin X Pharmaceuticals closes $16 million Series D financing

Gemin X Pharmaceuticals, a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel, targeted cancer therapeutics, today announced the close of its $16 million Series D round of financing. Current investors Caxton Advantage Life Sciences Fund LP and Sanderling Venture Partners co-led the round. In addition, the Series D structure grants certain current investors the option to invest an additional $4 million in this financing round in the future.

Among people over 50, those who did not finish high school or have not recently had common cancer screenings such as a mammogram, prostate-specific antigen test or colorectal cancer screening, are also less likely to be screened for skin cancer.

Positive data from NewLink Genetics Phase1/2 study of HyperAcute-Lung cancer immunotherapy

NewLink Genetics Corporation announced today data from a Phase 1/2 study showing that patients with progressive advanced non-small cell lung cancer treated with its HyperAcute®-Lung cancer immunotherapy experienced favorable median survival.
