Open EC Technologies, AxSys Healthcare sign Teaming Agreement

Open EC Technologies, Inc. ("Open EC" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:OCE) is pleased to report the signing of a Teaming Agreement with AxSys Healthcare Corporation ("AxSys") for its subsidiary, SoftCare EC Solution Inc. ("SoftCare") www.softcare.com.

The Teaming Agreement enables SoftCare to deliver the AxSys Excelicare Software as a Service (SAAS) solution for SoftCare's specific business development opportunities underway in the US Healthcare market. The agreement provides for SoftCare as prime contractor to license and share in recurring revenue from SoftCare initiated projects for its solutions in Healthcare Provider Portals, Electronic Health Records (EHR) Interoperability and Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Solutions.

Going forward, SoftCare will supply its TradeLink e-Business Software integrated to the AxSys Excelicare Solutions to comply with the mandated inter-operability requirements from the US Federal Government's Healthcare IT reforms for EHR, Eligibility, Claims and Payments.
