Window World, the nation's largest replacement window company, has been selected by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® to receive the hospital's celebrated "New Corporate Partner of the Year" award, given out annually to a new partner who demonstrates excellence and dedication in fundraising. A St. Jude corporate partner since 2008, Window World has raised more than $1 million for the hospital, which is one of the world's premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.

“Window World is helping to make a difference for the children of St. Jude and we're so pleased to show our appreciation by recognizing the company as this year's New Corporate Partner of the Year.”

Window World raises money for St. Jude through its charitable foundation, Window World Cares, and is close to meeting its first fundraising goal: to raise $1.5 million - the hospital's daily operating cost.

"The support and enthusiasm from the entire Window World network - store owners, employees, customers and vendor partners - has been tremendous," said Richard C. Shadyac Jr., CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising organization of St. Jude. "Window World is helping to make a difference for the children of St. Jude and we're so pleased to show our appreciation by recognizing the company as this year's New Corporate Partner of the Year."

Window World's relationship with St. Jude began in 2008 as a way to give back to those in need, especially children. The founders of Window World Cares, Todd Whitworth, late CEO of Window World, and his wife Tammy Whitworth, knew firsthand how difficult it can be for parents of a child who requires medical care. Born 12 weeks premature, the Whitworths' own daughter received lifesaving prenatal care that inspired their commitment to children's causes.

"Giving back and helping others in need has always been a big part of the Window World culture, but it's the remarkable employees and children of St. Jude who make us so passionate about this organization," said Tammy Whitworth, owner of Window World and co-founder of Window World Cares. "We're thankful for all those who joined us in supporting the mission of St. Jude. We know this is just the beginning of a very strong partnership."

Window World raises money for St. Jude through customer, employee and corporate donations, as well as from the community through grassroots fundraising efforts at the store level and the company's many sports sponsorship programs.
