Medrium signs partnership agreement with RelayHealth for Results Distribution Systems

Medrium, Inc., one of the nation's top independent medical healthcare information technology companies, today announced it has signed a partnership agreement with RelayHealth to use their Results Distribution Systems (RDS) to leverage Relay's national relationship with LabCorp and to provide LabCorp results to physicians utilizing the Medrium EMR.

"The Results Distribution Systems will provide significant lab support services for our EMR," said John Mortenson, CEO of Medrium. In today's collaborative economy, partnering with the right organizations is a critical decision. RDS allows Medrium to eliminate building, supporting, and maintaining "point to point" connections for each lab. At the same time, RDS provides one platform for all labs: LabCorp, Hospitals, and many more. As Medrium and RelayHealth work together, they will develop additional functionality such as placing orders through the Medrium EMR. "We are extremely confident in RelayHealth's products and services and the support behind them that this agreement provides."

The agreement comes not only at an opportune time for the two companies, but also for the industry. Medrium's Physician Office Management solution offers a seamlessly integrated suite combining practice management, and clinical and billing functions in a low cost, completely integrated, easy to use solution for physician offices while RelayHealth's RDS suite provides a convenient single point of connectivity to all of RelayHealth's partnered hospitals and reference laboratories.
