medSage Technologies launches new patent-pending TrendSetter Universal CPAP Monitor

NewsGuard 100/100 Score

medSage Technologies, an international supplier of comprehensive patient management solutions, today introduced its new patent-pending TrendSetter Universal CPAP Monitor.

TrendSetter collects patient compliance data from any brand of PAP machine and sends it in near real time to home health providers. This allows the providers to address any patient compliance problems or potential therapy issues. Other solutions only work for single brands of PAP devices, or only collect data and report it periodically, when it may be too late to get patients to make a change.

"We're very pleased to be the only supplier of such a simple, elegant solution," says company President and CEO Jerry Connelly. "Now our clients can quickly and easily manage their patients' needs and compliance to therapy like never before -- and enjoy enhanced profitability at the same time."

TrendSetter is fully integrated into medSage's suite of patient management applications, so no data entry is needed. Patient information is automatically uploaded. And there's no need to learn multiple software applications. The user can access all patient reports from a single, easy-to-use, web-based software application.

TrendSetter works for any PAP machine, with a simple snap-on sensor. It operates wirelessly, without being susceptible to cellular or pager network dead zones. And the compliance monitoring is suitable for CMS and other payor reporting.
