Medicaid Health Plans of America selects MedAssurant for advanced analytics in healthcare delivery

MedAssurant Inc., a leading provider of data-driven healthcare solutions, today announced that Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA) has selected MedAssurant to provide advanced analytics to establish priorities and to inform best practices in healthcare delivery settings for Medicaid patients.  MedAssurant will apply its large healthcare datasets and analytical platform to assist MHPA in conducting detailed research to address questions of comparative effectiveness, clinical quality and efficacy.

MHPA has recently launched its Center for Best Practices, an initiative directed toward assisting its members to identify and employ best practices to improve care for the Medicaid populations that they serve.  MHPA and the Center for Best Practices have turned to MedAssurant to leverage its extensive datasets and its research and analytics capabilities to support ongoing efforts to understand the quality and effectiveness of care delivered to Medicaid patients, the barriers that limit the quality and effectiveness of that care, and the strategies that are most likely to enable MHPA members to overcome those barriers.  Through MedAssurant's analyses, the Center for Best Practices will be better able to develop and promote effective practices in the clinical and operations areas of Medicaid health plans.
