SXC receives Health Alliance's three-year HCIT service contract

SXC Health Solutions Corp. ("SXC" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: SXCI) (TSX: SXC), a leading provider of technology and pharmacy benefit management ("PBM") services, announces that it has been awarded a three-year Health Care Information Technology ("HCIT") service contract from Health Alliance Plan ("Health Alliance") of Michigan, a health plan with an annual health spend of approximately $250 million. Health Alliance Plan markets health plan products in the commercial and Medicare Part D market segments.

Under the terms of the HCIT agreement SXC is providing a full suite of flexible PBM tools as part of the contract, including RxAuth™, RxBUILDER™, RxMAX™, RxEXCHANGE™ and Zynchros, to Health Alliance Plan's 500,000 commercial and Medicare Part D members, effective January 1, 2012.
