Sandlot - a clinical health information technology company founded by practicing physicians - has partnered with TactusMD Inc. - a physician-owned electronic health record (EHR) solutions company based in Marietta, Georgia. The two physician-governed companies will offer tailored, integrated EHR and HIE service solutions to maximize patient care and business efficiencies for pediatric practices, hospitals and health plans.
TactusMD specializes in EHR technology systems tailored for pediatric, OB/GYN, family practice and internal medicine practice needs while meeting government standards for meaningful use. Sandlot's HIE, SandlotConnect®, contains nearly 2 million patients and combines patient clinical data - regardless of the source - to help physicians and healthcare delivery systems enhance quality improvement and patient care delivery.
Sandlot and TactusMD are working with Driscoll Children's Health Plan - a licensed HMO in the Texas Coastal Bend region - to give the health plan and associated physicians a fully interoperable solution that seamlessly integrates with current workflows to enhance care delivery, improve patient outcomes and increase physician and patient satisfaction.
