Politico Pro: Gingrich Ad Hits Romney On Health Reform
Newt Gingrich's super PAC is out with an ad launching a new attack on Mitt Romney's health care record in Massachusetts - and reviving stories about his plan's influence on "Obamacare." "When Mitt Romney invented government-run health care," the ad starts, "Romney advisers helped Obama write the disastrous Obamacare." It cites an October Forbes article that reports that White House visitor logs showed "a dozen meetings … [with] the Obama team" (Haberkorn, 1/24).
