Westpak Inc., a world class ISO 17025 accredited environmental test laboratory with 2 facilities in California, recently announced the formation of a cold chain testing division dedicated to the testing of packages intended for controlled temperature environments.

This new division takes advantage of Westpak's wide variety of environmental test chambers, combined with a series of temperature recording systems that utilize high accuracy SLE (Special Limits of Error) thermocouples, according to Wil Caday, Division Manager.  "By having this extensive series of recording instrumentation, combined with a wide variety of test chambers, we are able to offer our clients the best possible value for the type of testing  they require", claims Caday.

In addition, Westpak test engineers have an extensive background in setup and testing of insulated shipping containers as well as the required preconditioning of thermal ballast and all components.  Application of thermal sensors carefully follow client's requirements and the readout of data collected is accomplished by utilizing state of the art recording instrumentation, according to Caday.
