VisionWeb achieves 100,000,000 online order milestone

VisionWeb, the premier provider of cloud-based technology services to the optical industry, announced that they have reached 100,000,000 online orders placed through the VisionWeb online ordering portal. VisionWeb's online ordering solution connects eyecare providers to over 400 optical suppliers so that they can place their spectacle lens, contact lens, and frame orders all from one online location. 

VisionWeb has been providing cloud-based technology and software solutions to the optical industry since 2001. Nearly 30,000 eyecare providers, in the United States and worldwide, use VisionWeb to place online ophthalmic product orders. In celebration of this milestone, VisionWeb has released a new infographic, "The State of Online Ordering: Then vs. Now", which examines the growth of online ordering over the past 11 years.

While VisionWeb's global users helped reach the 100,000,000 online order milestone, 70% of these transactions were placed in the U.S., with the 100,000,000^th order being placed in Traverse City, MI.
