TeleTracking receives 'KLAS Category Leader' award and 2014 Building Better Health Award

TeleTracking Technologies, Inc. achieved highly coveted honors at home and abroad in 2014, capturing the "KLAS Category Leader" award from U.S. healthcare market research leader KLAS and the "2014 Building Better Health Award" in the United Kingdom.

It was the eighth time that TeleTracking received the Patient Flow KLAS Category Leader award.

The 2014 Best in KLAS: Software & Services report is published by KLAS, a research firm specializing in monitoring and reporting the performance of healthcare vendors. KLAS gathers feedback from more than 16,000 executives at 4,500 hospitals and nearly 2,500 ambulatory organizations to give input on the vendors. A KLAS Category Leader award identifies top-rated vendor products for certain market segments in the Best in KLAS Awards report.

The honors capped a year in which TeleTracking continued to increase its client base in the U.S. and U.K. New TeleTracking client organizations like The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation recognize that, just as electronic health records support clinical excellence, creating an integrated operational and clinical platform is vital to the development of an optimal care environment; an environment in which daily functions are truly automated so that caregivers can focus on making sure the right patient is in the right place at the right time with the right resources.

TeleTracking clients also received nationwide recognition as The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT) won the Patient Safety and Care Award in the U.K. for using TeleTracking technology to improve patient safety. The award for "Best Product for Improving Working Practices" from British publication "Building Better Healthcare" was the first for TeleTracking since entering the U.K. market.

"Nearly 30 U.K. trusts are using TeleTracking to optimize their operations so that they can care for patients, and the focus in 2015 is to increase that number," said President Michael Gallup. "This year we will introduce a new platform in the cloud, investigate systems that match staffing to demand, and launch our new Community Access Portal™ application that will bridge the gap between the acute care setting and the community to extend the patient care continuum."

TeleTracking will officially unveil these solutions and showcase its vision of The Real-Time Hospital™ at the HIMSS'15 Annual Conference & Exhibition, April 13-15 in Chicago.
