Maxim Healthcare Services earns three 2015 Best Compliance Practice Awards

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc., a leading provider of home healthcare, medical staffing and population health and wellness services, has been recognized for excellence in compliance and ethics programming by the Health Ethics Trust for the second year in a row.

The company earned three 2015 Best Compliance Practice Awards in the areas of field auditing and monitoring, claims testing, and issues management. In 2014, Maxim earned a Best Compliance Practice Award for its compliance and ethics education and training program. With this year's awards, every area of Maxim's comprehensive compliance and ethics program has now been recognized as a best practice for the healthcare industry.

"Five years ago Maxim leadership made a commitment to reinvent our organization, placing our patients and caregivers at the center of all that we do. Because integrity and ethical behavior are foundational pieces of any healthcare services company, Maxim believed then, as now, that being at the forefront of compliance innovation would only strengthen that commitment," said Brad Bennett, Maxim CEO. "We are very pleased not only for this recognition of our Company's efforts but also in the confirmation that our employees are setting the standard for compliance and ethics across our industry."

The Health Ethics Trust is committed to enhancing ethical and legal conduct in healthcare organizations through shared resources, education programs and research. Selected by a committee of working healthcare compliance officers, the Best Compliance Practice Awards recognize outstanding compliance performance in healthcare organizations and serve as a standard for other healthcare organizations.

"Maxim's commitment to their compliance and ethics program should be commended," said Daniel Reardon, managing director for the Council of Ethical Organizations. "We congratulate them – and all of this year's winners – for raising the compliance and ethics bar and for sharing their best practices."
