Live Webinar for Users and Interested Scientists:
Title: "Biomolecular Interaction Studies using Microscale Thermophoresis"
Presenter: Dr. Ali Raja (Application Specialist, NanoTemper Technologies)
December 12, 2016; (9am EST / 6am PST)
The webinar is internet-based (WebEx) and free of charge.
In approximately 1h you will have the opportunity to learn the theoretical background of MST, instrumentation for fluorescent label and label-free MST, practical strategies for assay setup as well as application examples. Of course there will be time for your questions.
Technical requirements will be sent to you after the registration. The number of participants is limited. If you are interested in participating, please send us your affiliation and contact data via Email: [email protected]

If demand for this presentation exceeds the WebEx limits, a new webinar will be announced at the earliest date possible.
MicroScale Thermophoresis Live Webinar topics:
- Theory of MicroScale Thermophoresis
- Application examples from MST customers
- Instrumentation for fluorescent label and label-free measurements
- Time for your questions
About the presenter:
Dr. Ali Raja obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Purdue University, where he researched chemotherapeutics targeting microtubule dynamics in Dr. Feng-Song Wang’s lab. For his Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame, he studied the role of mitotic kinases in the regulation of kinetochore assembly and cholesterol transport in Niemann-Pick Type C Disease in Dr. Kevin Vaughan’s lab. After completion of his doctorate studies in 2015, he joined NanoTemper Technologies Inc. as an Application Scientist and was the first member for it’s East Coast office in Kendall Square, Boston. He specializes in MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST) and nanoDSF technologies.
