Tell us about Mahr Surgical and why are you attending Health GB 2018.
We are manufacturing company who make surgical trays and baskets. We work predominantly in the UK, within the NHS and Sterilization Service Units. We think Health GB is a good opportunity to establish and grow an international distributor network.
How do your products differ from others on the market?
We make sure that all of our products are fit for purpose. In this industry, we see a lot of people who buy things that is just about right, but not quite right. All that happens is that these products get damaged and broken, and need to be replaced. This is expensive.
We create bespoke items that last a long time and do the job properly. They may cost more initially but they do not need to be bought again, saving money in the long-run.
Who are you hoping to connect with at this year’s event?
Ideally, we'd like to work with medical companies that are based abroad.
