IntegraMed America, Inc. (NASDAQ: INMD), the nation’s leading provider of specialty healthcare services in emerging, technology-focused niches, today announced that Dallas IVF has begun offering IntegraMed’s Attain™ IVF Program, a course-of-treatment financing program that improves patient success rates with in vitro fertilization (IVF) fertility treatments.

The Attain IVF Program, pioneered by IntegraMed on a nationwide basis, offers an attractive alternative to better manage the financial commitment associated with undergoing a series of IVF treatments. For a discounted, fixed up-front cost, the Attain IVF Program provides patients with a series of IVF treatments, and refunds of up to 100% of their fees should their treatments not result in having a baby. The Attain IVF Multi-Cycle Program also offers a discounted, fixed up-front cost for fewer treatments. For most IVF patients these programs present an opportunity to significantly increase their chances of success by allowing them to stay in treatment longer. Dallas IVF, located in Frisco, Texas, is the medical practice of Brian D. Barnett, MD and Lowell T. Ku, MD. Dallas IVF offers couples individualized infertility treatment plans in a caring environment. Their new facility includes a state-of-the-art assisted reproductive technology (ART) laboratory. Dr. Barnett graduated from New York University and received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School. He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) in Baltimore. After his residency, Dr. Barnett completed a three-year fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, often considered to be one the premier infertility training programs in the world. Prior to moving to Plano in 1997 and entering private practice, Dr. Barnett was on the faculty at Duke University Medical Center and was instrumental in the success of its in vitro fertilization program. He is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist.

Dr. Ku received his undergraduate degree from Emory University and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Ku completed training in the nationally recognized family medicine residency at the John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, and entered into private practice in Houston. Having always loved obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Ku returned to training and completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital. After residency, Dr. Ku completed a three-year fellowship at The University of Louisville Medical School in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and returned to Dallas to practice at Dallas IVF in 2008.

“We’re very pleased to make the Attain IVF Program available to our patients,” said Dr. Barnett. “Dr. Ku and I are confident that many of our patients will find the program to be an appealing financial option as they look to pursue IVF treatment. With Attain IVF, patients can commit to a comprehensive treatment plan while limiting the amount of money at stake.”

“Offering the Attain IVF Program at Dallas IVF expands our program’s presence in the Dallas area, a key geographic spot for us and one which we feel affords strong growth prospects,” said Pamela Schumann, President of the Consumer Services Division of IntegraMed. “We look forward to providing these value-added options to patients of Dallas IVF, and expect great success from this relationship.”
