For the third consecutive year, Standard Process Inc.® has been named to INC. magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in America, rising 420 places in rank from last year. Standard Process, a nutritional whole food supplement company in Palmyra, Wis., had revenue growth of 51.2% for the period 2005 through 2008. The magazine also reported that the company had 2008 revenues of $97.6 million and 270 employees.

Standard Process ranked #3,987. In the state of Wisconsin, among all companies in the health category, Standard Process ranked first in revenue, second in number of employees, and fifth in revenue growth.

“We are pleased to continue to be included in the Inc. 5,000 and to have maintained such strong rankings in Wisconsin’s health industry,” said Charlie DuBois, president of Standard Process. "Our continued growth reflects that people, despite current economic conditions, take their health seriously and remain interested in alternative ways to achieve a healthier lifestyle."

Of all 5,000 companies on the list, Standard Process, which was founded in 1929, was the 45th oldest company.

The Inc. 5,000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. Qualifying companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. Companies also needed to have generated at least $200,000 in revenue in 2005, and at least $2 million in revenue in 2008.
