Instacare announces initial parallel marketing strategy for its cell phone centric products

Instacare Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: ISCR), a leading provider of life-saving prescription drugs, home testing products for the chronically ill, a leading fulfillment provider of direct to patient diabetes programs and a leading developer of e-health technology and revolutionary cell phone centric technologies and products announced today its intent to file multiple updated and enhanced patent and trademark applications covering its cell phone centric technologies with the United States Patent and Trademarks Office. The company concurrently announced its initial parallel marketing strategy for its revolutionary cell phone centric products after contact from two well known, medical and healthcare firms.

In February 2009 Congress passed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 ("the Stimulus"). Later in February 2009 the Obama Administration announced additional health industry cost saving initiatives and proposed incentives to physicians. Taken together the Stimulus and the Administration proposals are intended to drive the health and medical industries to rapidly transition from inefficient and costly paper dependent providers to an instantaneous electronic mechanism for conducting medical business. The Stimulus provides cash incentives to physicians for the adoption of electronic medical records (EMR and EHR) technologies through a system that will pay physicians $44,000 (and up to $64,000) from a fund created by the federal government that reminds of the highly popular and recently ended "Cash for Clunkers" program.

Keith Berman, Instacare CFO stated, "Our goal is to pragmatically respond to the requirements of the Federal Government's electronic medical record initiatives that provide dollar incentives of up to $64,000 to physician practices that adopt EMR/EHR technologies. We have already secured the first-to-market position with our cell phone-centric MD@Hand EMR products. Our MD@Hand EMR products and technologies are unique, running on Apple iPhone, Palm Pre, RIM BlackBerry and popular smart cell phones."

Robert Jagunich, Chairman of Instacare stated, "Instacare's Board believes that its new cell phone platform is timely, exciting, and best of all, rewarding to the physician community. Based on the success of trials and demonstrations, the Board has decided to engage a Washington, DC based lobbyist to advance the company's position so that Instacare can move to the forefront of the Stimulus priorities, which offer Cash for Clunkers-like incentives to physicians for the adoption of EMR technology. No other market provider can offer a physician a suite of robust, secure internet based EMR, patient medical history applications, and proposed treatment protocols with the storage of a main-frame computer that can be put to work right in the palm of the physician's hand after 15 minutes of training. We also will market a product designed with the hospital based physician in mind. Stimulus incentives for hospital EMR adoption are much higher."

In concluding his remarks, Mr. Berman stated, "Instacare Corp. has recently been contacted by two large healthcare firms, expressing interest in furnishing our cell phone based EMR product to their physician provider networks. Our intent is to explore the opportunities presented by both of these companies and also with any prospective companies pursuing alliances for our proprietary technologies. It has become apparent that our advanced medical technologies, particularly their adaptation to smart phones, when combined with the federal Stimulus, provides substantial physician financial incentives and has sparked interest across the medical landscape."

The Company's MD@Hand technologies allow physicians to gain access and securely store electronic medical records without the need of a stand-alone computer, tablet PC or PDA. The company estimates that the Verizon Windows phones will allow EMR permanent storage for up to 5,000 patients for up to 10 years. The Apple iPhone, Palm Pre and the BlackBerry phones are equally impressive although permanent storage is slightly less.
