Marathon Health today announced that BAE Systems has signed an agreement with Marathon Health to provide integrated, onsite health services for BAE Systems employees at BAE Systems' Kingsport, TN location.

Marathon Health will implement its workforce population health management solution offering:

-- Acute and Primary Care -- Lifestyle Management -- Risk Reduction Health Coaching -- Disease Management -- Medication Dispensing -- Health Engagement System™ Technology Platform

The onsite clinic will be opened 40 hours per week and will be staffed by a physician-supervised nurse practitioner and a registered nurse / health coach. BAE Systems is targeting March 1st, 2010 for opening the Integrated Health Clinic.

"Joining forces with BAE Systems and the strong health improvement leadership assigned to this project is very exciting for Marathon Health," said Jerry Ford, CEO, Marathon Health. "Identifying and managing health risk is the key to worksite health improvement and BAE Systems has all of the right elements in place to do so -- strong executive leadership, thoughtful and meaningful incentives for participation, and convenient access to a trusted clinician for care and coaching. With the documented savings and health improvements already demonstrated and the added benefits of onsite care, this is a model other organizations will want to replicate."
