Effective March 1, Concentra, a national provider of urgent care services, has expanded its customer base and reach with the acquisition of the assets of Cherry Hill Health Care Associates, P.A. (d/b/a Health Now) in Pennsauken, N.J.

Concentra will consolidate the operations of Health Now into its nearby Concentra Urgent Care center in Pennsauken.  Health Now owner Jerry Kolybabiuk, M.D., will join Concentra as a supporting physician. The strategic acquisition will support Concentra's extensive client base, its long history as the leading provider of occupational medicine to employees, and a growing demand for comprehensive health and wellness services.

Keith Newton, president and chief operating officer of Concentra, said, "This is an excellent opportunity to expand our service and medical expertise to local employers and the private-patient community in Pennsauken.  Dr. Kolybabiuk has a proven record of service to the community, providing comprehensive medical treatment for injured employees – a philosophy that parallels that of Concentra and ultimately results in tremendous benefits for our patients and clients."

Serving the Pennsauken community for more than 20 years, Dr. Kolybabiuk founded Health Now as one of the first walk in medicine clinics in the area, providing efficient and effective health care services to the surrounding community.  Concentra has retained many of Health Now's personnel, building on their tenure with the organization and the long-standing relationships they have established within the surrounding communities.

"Concentra has a long-standing reputation of providing experienced and proven health care services to patients," said Dr. Kolybabiuk.  "By joining the Concentra organization, I am able to provide patients with an expanded health care offering and focus on improving their immediate and long-term health."

In addition to occupational health and urgent care medical services, Concentra offers a range of physical therapy, preventive, wellness, and health education services to current and new patients and employers.  Health Now patients will have access to those services at Concentra's Pennsauken location:
