HealthCare Resolution Services, Inc. (HCRS), a leading provider of program integrity support, health information technology (IT) services and professional medical and technical staffing, announced today that it has been accepted as a subcontractor for three contract vehicles serving the states of Maryland, Texas, and Florida.

HCRS will serve as a subcontractor to Bourntec Solutions, Inc. (Bourntec) in support of its work with the Maryland Department of Information Technology Consulting and Technical Services II (MD CATS II), Texas Department of Information Resources IT Staffing Augmentation Services (ITSAC), and the Florida Department of Management Services IT Consulting Services Contract. Through the vehicles, HCRS will support the states with a variety of IT support services including staffing, analysis and design, project management, systems development, and a broad range of other operations and support services.

MD CATS II was developed to enable the Maryland state government to procure IT consulting and technical services in a quick, efficient and cost effective manner. The contract has a five-year period of performance and includes 17 areas of functional performance ranging from electronic document management to business process consulting services, of which HCRS sub-contracting to Bourntec, will have access to 10 of the 17 functional areas.

Through the ITSAC contract, HCRS will provide agencies within the state of Texas with temporary IT staffing augmentation services using its state-of-the art recruitment and retention strategies to ensure that positions are filled within the contract start-up terms with qualified and experienced professionals. The contract has a two-year period of performance, and expires August 31, 2011.

The contract with the Florida Department of Management Services will enable HCRS to provide IT consulting services to state agencies and Other Eligible Users (IOUs). The three-year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract runs from September 15, 2009 through August 31, 2012 and provides for a myriad of information technology project deliverable support, as well as staff augmentation.

“Our customers trust us to implement the most cost-effective IT strategy, and we needed a partner that would provide real value in delivering those IT solutions,” said Srujana Gudur, president of Bourntec. “HCRS’s deep expertise in auditing and data abstraction will provide the efficient support we need to do just that.”

“HCRS’ extensive experience with proven IT services to health care clients across the country will significantly benefit the customers in Texas, Florida and Maryland that need similar IT support in other industries,” said Susan Sirmai Feinberg, Director of Business Development at HCRS. “We look forward to working with Bourntec, and know that our work together will provide customers across the country with fast, effective technology and staffing solutions.”
