Washington Business Journal: "The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has awarded Fairfax-based CGI Federal Inc. a five-year contract worth $73.2 million to continue its modernization, application management and maintenance efforts on three external websites that provide information to 44 million beneficiaries and millions more health care providers." The websites are Medicare.gov, cms.hhs.gov and myMedicare.gov (Eckert, 5/18).
Government Health IT: "Among current features of the sites, consumers can view health claims information, compare health and drug plans based on quality measures and estimated costs and create a report listing information that they can share with their healthcare providers" (Mosquera, 5/18).
NextGov: "The company has supported CMS for 12 years and also has worked with the Food and Drug Administration" (Long, 5/18).
