Transcend Services enters into a 27 month contract with HealthTrust

TRANSCEND SERVICES, INC. (NASDAQ: TRCR) announced today that it has entered into a 27 month contract with HealthTrust Purchasing Group, LP (HealthTrust) to offer medical transcription and clinical documentation products and services to nearly 1,400 not-for-profit and for-profit acute care facilities and other health-care organizations within the HealthTrust membership.

Eighty percent of the transcription services provided by Transcend are performed by a domestic workforce.
