Doctors Care and Progressive Physical Therapy relocates Northeast Columbia center

Doctors Care and Progressive Physical Therapy, affiliates of UCI Medical Affiliates, Inc. (Pink Sheets: UCIA), today announced the relocation of their medical center formerly at 110 Atrium Way, Columbia, SC.  The new center, which opened today, is at 10040 Two Notch Road.  

Dr. Thomas Gibbons, Chief Medical Officer of Doctors Care said, "We are excited about the relocation of our center in Northeast Columbia.  This was one our first Doctors Care centers, and we are confident that our new location will continue to serve the Northeast community in the finest traditions of Doctors Care.  We provide convenient urgent care, family care and occupational medicine, with or without an appointment.  In addition, our new location will provide orthopedic services thorough our affiliate, Carolina Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine."

Barry Fitch, President of Progressive Physical Therapy, said, "Having a brand new and enhanced physical therapy site in the same building as Doctors Care will allow our Progressive Physical Therapy staff to provide even better and expanded therapy services to our patients."  

The new Northeast Doctors Care location will be open seven days a week, including most holidays. Services include routine check-ups, care for minor emergencies, and family health services including vaccinations and primary care. Progressive Physical Therapy will operate Monday through Friday and can be reached at (803) 788-9950. Carolina Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine will see patients Monday through Friday, and can be reached at (803) 788-3959.
