iMDsoft, Mindray enter new distribution agreement

iMDsoft®, a leader in hospital-wide clinical information systems, and Mindray, a leading global provider of medical devices, have today announced a new distribution agreement. Under the agreement, Mindray will sell only clinical information systems by iMDsoft, and will be the sole distributor of MetaVision® in China. Mindray will also distribute iMDsoft's MetaVision® Suite solutions in 10 countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia.

“Together we can offer compelling solutions for hospitals all over the world.”

Mindray (NYSE: MR) is a global medical device manufacturer, and the largest in China. The company has three well-established business segments: patient monitoring and life support products, in-vitro diagnostic products, and medical imaging systems. Mindray has grown rapidly in the past several years to an internationally-recognized provider of top-quality medical devices. The partnership with iMDsoft will enable Mindray to offer MetaVision clinical information systems for the perioperative, critical, and acute care continuum as part of their recently-launched total solution strategy.

The MetaVision Suite from iMDsoft has proven its relevancy in over 20 countries and languages around the world. It has the flexibility to meet the particular workflow requirements of various countries, hospitals, and units. Mindray chose to work with MetaVision because of the system's ability to provide proven results to a diverse client base.

The MetaVision Suite includes fully-integrated tools for data collection, presentation, order management, reporting, and analysis across the continuum of care. It promotes patient safety and enhances quality initiatives, cost containment, revenue capture, research, and compliance.

"We are very pleased to forge this agreement with iMDsoft," said Ms. Guo Yanmei, VP of Development and Planning at Mindray "After significant efforts preparing the Chinese market for iMDsoft's solution, we look forward to a long term, mutually beneficial cooperation. We are excited to offer the comprehensive MetaVision solution throughout mainland China and internationally."

"The Chinese healthcare market has experienced explosive growth over the past decade. We are proud to partner with Mindray, whose products hold a 40% market share in China," said Moshe Friedman, VP of Business Development and Marketing, iMDsoft. "Together we can offer compelling solutions for hospitals all over the world."
