Progressive Physical Therapy, Doctors Care inaugurate new center in Newberry

Doctors Care and Progressive Physical Therapy, affiliates of UCI Medical Affiliates, Inc., today announced the opening of their newest center at 1410 Wilson Road in Newberry, South Carolina.

Dr. Michael Stout, Doctors Care Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We are very excited about our new center in the Newberry area. At Doctors Care, we take pride in offering patients convenient medical care where and when they need it, including evening and weekend hours. We believe as well that our on-site x-ray and lab services will be a much needed asset to the Newberry community."

"We offer a wide range of services including primary care, urgent care, annual and sports physicals and also treatment for injuries and unexpected illnesses. This includes lacerations, sprains, fractures, rashes, fevers, and respiratory infections to name just a few. We are particularly excited about bringing Dr. Buzhardt, a Newberry resident, back to the Newberry area," said Dr. Thomas Gibbons, Midlands Regional Medical Director.

Barry Fitch, DPT, President of Progressive Physical Therapy said, "We look forward to expanding our services to the Newberry area. We offer a full range of rehabilitative services including: physical therapy, industrial medicine, sports training and rehabilitation and occupational therapy."
