The Bonati Spine Institute, the leading center for the patented Bonati Spine Procedures for minimally invasive laser spine surgery, announces that a team of employees will participate in the Arthritis Walk on May 7.

The Arthritis Walk is the Arthritis Foundation's annual nationwide signature event that raises funds and awareness to fight arthritis, the nation's most common cause of disability. Registration for the 3 mile walk begins at 8:00 AM at Al Lopez Park, 4810 North Himes Avenue in Tampa, and the walk follows at 9 AM.

"The Bonati Spine Institute strongly supports the Arthritis Foundation. The 'Bonati Team' is enthusiastic about being part of a community striving to achieve better health and to change lives for people living with arthritis through research, education and improvement programs," commented Dr. Alfred Bonati, creator of The Bonati Spine Procedures and Chief Surgeon at The Bonati Spine Institute.

"As the leading spine center, our spine experts have extensive experience helping patients suffering from arthritis of the spine regain their lives. This disease can be a very painful and debilitating problem. If left untreated, arthritis of the spine can lead to physiological problems such as muscle breakdown or weakness, as well as psychological problems such as anxiety and depression," Dr. Bonati continued.

For over 28 years, The Bonati Spine Institute has been the leader in minimally invasive outpatient spine surgery. Alfred O. Bonati, M.D. was the first to develop and patent methods and instruments for laser spine surgery to correct problems of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, known as The Bonati Spine Procedures. Their success rate of over 90% offers patients renewed hope. Available only at The Bonati Spine Institute, these gentle procedures have been performed successfully more than 40,000 times to treat conditions that include spinal stenosis, arthritis of the spine, herniated discs, bulging discs, whiplash, failed back surgery syndrome, and degenerative disc disease.
