Streamline Health announces two major developments for AccessAnyWare EHR module

Streamline Health Solutions, Inc. (NasdaqCM: STRM), a leading provider of enterprise document management and revenue cycle solutions for healthcare organizations, today announced two major developments for its AccessAnyWare document management solution. The company made generally available its newly architected version, AccessAnyWare v5.1. It also announced that AccessAnyWare v1.9 received the federal government's "meaningful use" stamp of approval by earning modular inpatient EHR certification for the following requirements: 170.302 O‐V and 170.306 E, H.

AccessAnyWare v5.1 is built on the company's new modular STRM 5 Platform architecture and features a newly redesigned intuitive user interface for quick and easy navigation, native workflow systems to optimize speed and configurability, embedded quality monitoring functionality to minimize user errors, and dynamic graphical dashboards for increased visibility of projects. Using the latest technology and object oriented programming, AccessAnyWare is intelligently integrated with other healthcare information technology systems and additional components can be easily deployed. AccessAnyWare v5.1 achieved modular inpatient EHR certification for the same requirements in August 2011.

AccessAnyWare v1.9 has met certification criteria for foundational security requirements, as well as providing patients with an electronic copy of their discharge instructions and recording advance directives.  The designation officially deems the electronic health record (EHR) software capable of enabling providers to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program, the EHR software is 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

"The new user interface and functionality within AccessAnyWare v5.1 bring this product to a completely new level for our clients," said Robert E. Watson, president and chief executive officer of Streamline Health. "In addition, achieving Meaningful Use requirements for our v1.9 version assists our clients who are currently on that version with obtaining federal stimulus monies. These are two important milestones as we continually look for new ways to assist our clients with Meaningful Use and to optimize the performance of our products."
