KLAS awards top rankings to Toshiba’s Aplio 500 CV cardiac ultrasound system

Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc.'s Aplio^TM 500 CV cardiac ultrasound system was ranked as the top performer in KLAS' "Echocardiography 2013: 2D or not 2D?" report. Toshiba received top scores in 18 out of 25 attributes.

In the report, Toshiba earned top scores for image quality and workflow, portability and ergonomics. According to one survey respondent, "The Aplio 500's ergonomics are great. The keyboard moves up and down easily, and it swings out and from side to side as well." Additionally, customers applauded the Aplio 500 CV's echo functionality, ability to customize settings and versatility to perform many different types of scans.
