Access to dental care in Arkansas is about to get a healthy boost with the addition of five new Aspen Dental–branded practices, the first of which will open in Searcy and Jonesboro on Thursday, April 9.
The five new locations scheduled to open in Arkansas throughout 2015 will provide much-needed access to affordable, quality care, including dental services that range from dentures and preventive care to general dentistry and restoration.
Together, the five new office openings will provide more than $6 million in estimated economic impact to local economies in Arkansas. That's based on a study conducted by Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management which indicates each new Aspen Dental-branded office benefits local community growth through investment in office construction, furniture and fixtures, jobs creation, wages and benefits, taxes, and investment in marketing and advertising.
The first two new Aspen Dental-branded practices are located in White and Craighead counties, in the following convenient retail locations:

Dr. Darryl Ragland, DDS, University of California at San Francisco and Dr. Russel Mulamba, DDS, Indiana University School of Dentistry, are the lead doctors at the new practices respectively.
Practices will open in Rogers, Bryant and Russellville later this year. Two of these practices are in the 64 counties in Arkansas located in dental health professional shortage areas (HPSAs) as designated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
