LifeScience Alley, MD&M Minneapolis partner for world-class medical technology conference

Demonstrating the power of partnership within the medtech community, UBM Canon today announced that LifeScience Alley will produce a world class medical technology conference in conjunction with the MD&M Minneapolis event, November 4-5, 2015, at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, MN. This combined 2015 Minneapolis event is expected to bring in more than 7,500 manufacturers, suppliers, and business leaders all under one roof, offering a great networking opportunity for the region.

This new partnership will be a primary focus of Minnesota Medtech Week, celebrating the life-saving innovations coming from this thriving region.

"By leveraging the strengths and industry partnerships of LifeScience Alley and MD&M Minneapolis, we plan to bring the Minnesota medical device community the best thought-leading content and supply chain access possible," said Shaye Mandle, president and CEO of LifeScience Alley.

Stephen Corrick, SVP, Portfolio Director for UBM Canon, added, "This partnership with LifeScience Alley demonstrates our mutual dedication to world renowned medtech innovation in the region."

Attendees of this conference will receive complimentary access to the entire show floor. At the exhibition, attendees will be able to source the latest design innovations, participate in free networking events, and take advantage of educational opportunities over two full days.

"As a member of the Minnesota medtech community and a foundational member of LifeScience Alley, it's exciting to see industry leaders coming together to support our community," said Rachel Ellingson, vice president, global communications for St. Jude Medical. "This event will continue to emphasize the dominant role Minnesota's Medical Alley plays in transforming health care for patients, physicians and hospitals around the world."
