Ageing 2016 summit to explore various aspects of processes, research on ageing and senescence

Ageing 2016 will be held from February 9 to 11, 2016 at Cineworld: The O2 Peninsula Square London SE10 0DX United Kingdom. The annual international summit will look at the various aspects of processes and research involved in ageing and senescence.

The aging process is unavoidable. Also known as senescence, the process of aging leads to the loss of power and stamina to complete work. The problem can occur in any part of the body and affect organs and their functions.

Ageing 2016 presents the perfect opportunity for anyone with a professional or academic interest in Ageing and its research to learn more about senescence. Clinicians, pharmacologists, researchers, postgraduate students, senior scientists and those who are involved in pharmaceuticals and related technology research and development are invited to join the event.

Ageing 2016 will present a comprehensive view of ageing. From diagnostics to therapy, the event promises to be full of informative debate and discussion and opportunities for everyone to know the latest discoveries in the field.

Dr. David E. Vance from the University of Alabama will be speaking at Ageing 2016 and give a talk about the biopsychosocial effects of aging with HIV.

The effect of brown and white adipose tissue interplay on metabolic and weight control during aging will be discussed by Dr. Labros Sidossis from the Shriners Hospitals for Children, University of Texas Medical Branch.

Dr. Mine Orlu Gul from the UCL School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutics, will be present as well and discuss the matter of developing drug formulations for older patients.
