ElderSens introduces Fall Alert system with identification of accident location to improve elderly care

ElderSens, a leading Silicon Valley startup company providing smart elderly care solutions, has launched its automatic senior Fall Alert system with identification of accident location. The main objective of the system is to reduce the time emergency personnel respond to falls, especially when the victim is unconscious or delirious. Reducing response time to initiate appropriate patient care may decrease morbidity and mortality rates. The Fall Alert system is readily introduced into hospitals or nursing home environments at low cost.

Most traditional medical alert monitoring systems rely on a button that seniors must press in order to call for help. Some seniors encountering an accident may be unable to press their medical alert button. Equipped with the most advanced motion sensor and sophisticated algorithm, ElderSens Fall Alert system will automatically sense an accident and sends real-time alert to nurses and caregivers.

This newly launched Fall Alert system is integrated into the ElderSens platform. The ElderSens platform consists of Bluetooth sensors, Bluetooth to Wifi mesh network, and cloud based software to continuously monitor the elderly under care and to send real-time alerts to the assisted living staff. ElderSens has partnered with major health networks and elderly care distributors for trials and deployment of its products.

"We are excited to launch automatic fall alert and location sensing system in response to a strong demand in elderly care market. The introduction of this new system into ElderSens platform, in addition to previously announced DiaperSens system, enables us to provide more comprehensive solution to the problems that assisted care facilities face," said Dr. Li Li, co-founder of ElderSens. "We are dedicated to support on-going trials and system deployments in the market, while we proceed with the development of the remaining products announced as part of our platform, all part of our commitment to deliver the most advanced and complete elderly care platform solution on the market," continues Li.
