Please tell us a bit about the company and why are you here today.
Witcom is a Dutch-based company. We manufacture our own range of Medical TPE’s which can be tailored to meet our customers exact requirements. We also manufacture hi performance engineering plastics. These include self-lubricated, Metal replacement, ATEX, and radar absorbing. Customers come to us for specially-designed polymers, and we then take them through that process from start to finish; development to manufacturing.
A majority of our polymers are not standard materials, and the client usually has a specific requirement or criteria. We then go away and design the polymer so it meets their exact requirement.
We're here today to talk to product designers and people that are looking for something a little bit different than the standard, off-the-shelf polymer.
How are your services and products unique?
We don't just have a standard range. We tailor make products for the client’s exact requirement, or we go and make a completely new product for them. Then we can supply either a bag or full container of that product.
What are the applications of your products and services?
Most of what we do is medical-related, but we also create polymers for the automotive and aerospace industry, as well as everyday usage.
