Los Angeles Magazine lists the region's top physicians
Los Angeles Magazine, in its January issue, will name 37 of the physician-researchers at Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute (LA BioMed) to be among Southern California Super Doctors.
To compile the list, Key Professional Media, Inc., an independent firm, surveyed medical professionals in Orange and Los Angeles counties, asking: "If you needed medical care, which doctor would you choose?" Their answers, along with a review of Southern California physicians' accomplishments and recognitions, produced the 2010 list of Southern California Super Doctors.
The list includes physicians from a wide range of specialties, including cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, nephrology, neurology, oncology, obstetrics/gynecology, otolaryngology, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, immunology and urology.
"Congratulations to the LA BioMed investigators who received this well-deserved recognition as Southern California Super Doctors," said LA BioMed President and CEO David I. Meyer, PhD. "These dedicated researchers are leaders in their respective fields and representative of the talent at LA BioMed."
