Office Ally, a true health information network connecting patients, providers and payers, experienced strong growth in the previous year and sees further record-breaking expansion in 2010.

“With our low-cost structure for providers and meaningful use guidelines soon to be finalized, we predict even stronger growth in the second and third quarters of 2010.”

“Well into the first quarter of 2010, we continue to experience interest and rapid adoption of our technology,” said Brian O’Neill, president and CEO of the company. “With our low-cost structure for providers and meaningful use guidelines soon to be finalized, we predict even stronger growth in the second and third quarters of 2010.”

Among its key accomplishments, in the prior year, the company introduced a user-friendly patient health record portal, Patient Ally. In addition to enabling e-visits and messaging between patients and providers, Patient Ally facilitates easier EHR creation and provides appointment reminders, prescription refills, HEDIS and HCC report cards for providers and even well care report cards for patients. Blue Shield of California and a number of other leading health plans now use Patient Ally to help connect patients and providers. Office Ally now has commitments from payers to download patient records of more than 10 million patients into Patient Ally, positioning the company as a leader in the emerging e-health communications sector.

The company has also received Electronic Health Care Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) accreditation, which recognizes excellence in health data processing and transactions, and indicates compliance with industry-established standards and HIPAA regulations. Office Ally is the only free national clearinghouse service to score very high ratings from leading health care industry market research firm KLAS.

“In March 2010, upon government finalization of guidelines, Office Ally’s EHR system will be certified as a recognized provider of meaningful use technology,” noted O’Neill. “The finalization of meaningful use guidelines and certification is seen as a key factor which will encourage even more providers to adopt an EHR system.”

Other significant 2010 initiatives for the first and second quarters include:

  • New auto-adjudication tool helps physicians to determine patient eligibility and copays, and collect those fees at the time of the office visit.
  • Expansion of e-visit capabilities to include tele-visits.
  • Certification of Health Care Organizations (CORE) certification, which accredits entities that create, transmit or use eligibility data, including health plans, providers, vendors, and clearinghouses.
  • Real-time eligibility for all Medicaid and Medicare patients to create further administrative efficiencies and cost savings.

Office Ally offers a simple-to-use web-based integrated system that connects patients, providers, and payers with a range of services. Its products include:

  • EHR 24/7—a complete and easily customizable electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Practice Mate—a free web-based practice management system.
  • Patient Ally—which enables electronic office visits (e-visits), messaging, and easy creation of EHR.
  • Office Ally Clearinghouse—a free electronic submission and turnkey claims processing service.
