The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) announced today that it
has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest
independent evaluator of charitable donations, for demonstrating
exceptional fiscal responsibility in its efforts to bring patients the
next generation of treatments and find a cure for multiple myeloma. This
is the seventh consecutive year the MMRF has been honored with this
      distinguished recognition.

“this exceptional designation differentiates the MMRF from
its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”

The coveted 4-star rating, the highest honor Charity Navigator bestows,
has been awarded to only two percent of charities. According to Charity
Navigator, “this exceptional designation differentiates the MMRF from
its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”

"Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating underscores our tireless commitment
to accountability and measurable results” said Kathy Giusti, Founder and
CEO of the MMRF. “Running lean and being efficient is an essential part
of our culture. In today’s uncertain economy, it is more important to us
than ever that our donors are certain we maximize every dollar they
      invest.”

In addition to receiving the 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the
MMRF has received A "Best in America" Seal of Excellence from the
Independent Charities of America, an A+ from the American Institute of
Philanthropy, and is in compliance with all of the Better Business
Bureau's (BBB) Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity
Accountability. The MMRF has also received approval from the National
Cancer Institute for its research grants program.
