NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (EES) today announced the launch of EESadvancements.com, a new Web site designed to give surgeons advanced access to some of the company's newest surgical technology innovations before they reach full-scale release in the marketplace.  The site also offers a collaborative environment where healthcare partners including surgeons, materials managers and OR Directors can share ideas on advancing the surgical continuum beyond minimally invasive procedures.

The launch of www.EESadvancements.com coincides with the introduction of two new products that are available exclusively on the site: the EES Optical Dilator and the EES Slotted Anoscope.

  • The Optical Dilator provides dilation of esophageal strictures with a high degree of control and visualization. It's a flexible, transparent dilator with three distinct dilation segments that fits over the endoscope, allowing the surgeon to both see and control esophageal dilation.
  • The EES Slotted Anoscope facilitates access to the anal canal during hemorrhoid surgery and examinations. It is designed to isolate hemorrhoid columns and provide a precise path for excision and suturing.

"EESadvancements.com supports our efforts to provide healthcare professionals with comprehensive and innovative solutions across the spectrum of surgery to improve patient outcomes," said Kevin Lobo, Worldwide President, Ethicon Endo-Surgery. "This new channel also enhances our ability to introduce innovations more quickly by providing access to some of our latest advancements before full release in the marketplace, while also collaborating to continue accelerating surgical advancements."

EESadvancements.com has several features designed to make the evaluation and purchasing process more convenient and easier for OR and materials managers as well. This includes clinical evidence, in-depth product information and comparative analysis, value analysis committee materials and an array of training tutorials.
