For the second straight year, MDS Nordion, a leading provider of products and services to the global health science market, has been named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp Canada, the nation's largest publisher of employment-related periodicals and online directories.

Now in its 11th year, Canada's Top 100 Employers is an annual competition to recognize Canada's best places to work. The project aims to identify the companies and organizations that lead their industries in attracting and retaining employees. MDS Nordion competed against 2,750 employers across the country for the 2011 honour and was evaluated against several criteria including business growth, employee input and feedback, stimulating work environment, benefits and compensation programs, as well as training and skills development.

Canada's Top 100 Employers for 2011 were announced October 15, 2010.
