At the HIC Conference Brisbane 1-5 August 2011, Tunstall Healthcare launched the new myclinic@home telehealth solution.

myclinic@home is the latest in telehealth solutions, allowing remote patients to easily monitor their vital signs and manage a long term health condition in the comfort of their own home or a clinic setting, all supported by a health professional.

myclinic - package 2Used in conjunction with the icp triagemanager software, the Tunstall telehealth solution provides access for health professionals to view their patients’ data in real-time, including face to face consultations via the integrated video conferencing system.

Readings outside a patients’ normal range are followed up and where required, intervention initiated to stabilise their condition.

Ideal for people living with a chronic health condition such as diabetes, heart disease or lung disease, myclinic@home allows patients to take their vital signs on a regular basis.

This makes myclinic@home especially suited to people living in remote and rural locations where access to GPs, specialists and nursing support can be limited.

Integrated video conferencing capability, allows rural and remote patients to have face to face contact with their care providers, GP or specialists without the need for long distance travel.

With its ability to enhance the continuum of care, the myclinic@home aims to deliver improved clinical, health and economic benefits.

According the Lyn Davies, General Manager of Tunstall Healthcare Australia, myclinic@home provides the much needed link to assist people to better manage their wellness rather than illness.
