NewsGuard 100/100 Score

Porter Adventist Hospital has recently been named as one of the top three hospitals in the state by U.S. News and World Report.

As one of only 14 hospitals to make the prestigious "Best Hospitals in Colorado" list, Porter Adventist Hospital was recognized for strong performance in cancer care, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, gynecology, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, pulmonology and urologic surgery.

This ranking distinguishes Porter Adventist Hospital as one of the top health care providers in the state that is above average in terms of reputation, patient survival, safety and overall care.

In addition to this most recent honor, Porter Adventist Hospital has also received an "A" grade for safety by The Leapfrog Group and was one of only six Colorado hospitals to receive the 2013 Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™.

These awards and honors are a direct result of the rigorous efforts made by the hospital's entire staff to improve patient safety, quality of care, communication and teamwork throughout the entire hospital.
