Products on display in Ortho's booth (No. 1100) at AACC will include Ortho's flagship Integrated Clinical Chemistry and Immunodiagnostic Systems and the Nephrocheck® Test. Ortho will also highlight the company's transfusion medicine instrument, The ORTHO VISION® MAX.

Visitors to the booth will also be able to witness how the enGen™ Laboratory Automation system, used in combination with the VITROS® Systems and informatics solutions, helps clinical labs automate, streamline and standardize workflow. Auto-verification improves security, increases walk-away time and diminishes costs, allowing lab professionals to more efficiently manage testing.

"Every product and service that Ortho offers reflects our commitment to reimagining what's possible in labs today," said Michael Iskra, president, North America Commercial Operations. "Lab professionals are challenged to do more with limited resources and increasing demand. We're redefining possibilities, offering comprehensive, fully integrated laboratory solutions that enhance the total value of instrument ownership."

The company will also host an invitation-only customer event at the Franklin Institute on Tuesday, August 2, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., featuring a session on empowering lab directors to work effectively with C-level hospital executives, as well as a lecture on the changing landscape of heart failure biomarkers.

Another highlight of Ortho's presence at the meeting will be an in-booth virtual reality lab visualization station. Using the latest 3D technology, visitors will work with our design team to custom build their own dream laboratories. They'll then tour the creations via virtual reality, learning how proprietary Ortho technology allows labs to grow and change as their needs do. The booth will also feature a theatre with a rotating roster of key opinion leader presentations and a lab informatics station.
