A.D.A.M., Inc. (Nasdaq: ADAM), a leading provider of consumer health information, benefits technology solutions and award-winning education products, today announced the launch of www.adamimages.com. The website allows users to search, view and license over 31,000 of A.D.A.M.’s highly-detailed, medical images and illustrations covering disease states, injuries, surgical procedures and human anatomy.

A.D.A.M. Images brings together in one convenient site images and illustrations from multiple A.D.A.M. products, including A.D.A.M. Interactive Anatomy, the company’s primary anatomy-focused product for the undergraduate education market, illustrations contained in A.D.A.M.’s consumer health products, and www.lido.com, a comprehensive online database of medical artwork targeted primarily to the legal market. Captioned images are available in English or Spanish, and images range from simplified for the consumer market to a higher level of detail for professional and academic use. Professionally prepared, medically accurate images are available from the website in standard and high resolution formats and can be licensed for use online, in brochures, posters, presentations, trial exhibits and other materials.

“We have always had strong licensing interest in our medical imagery from a cross section of businesses such as media and healthcare organizations to trial lawyers. Our investment in A.D.A.M. Images allows us to not only aggregate our rich visual content into one convenient, searchable place, it also provides us a cost effective delivery method to reach an even broader range of potential customers,” said Kevin Noland, president and chief executive officer of A.D.A.M.
