Ergonomics and functionality combine to offer new levels of versatility in imaging environments
Today, Rayence Inc. announced the latest entries to its growing line of wireless flat panel detectors will be shown at RSNA 2016 in Chicago, Illinois.
The new, ergonomically designed Rayence C-Series Cesium Iodide and Gadolinium Oxysulfide wireless detectors with tapered, recessed edges and a sure-grip backing are designed to offer new levels of handling, functionality and exceptional diagnostic image quality in the X-ray room and beyond.
Acquiring large patient body type images is easy with the 17”x17” C-Series, capturing the widest chest or pelvis. Each C-Series detector incorporates user activated, internal image storage capable of storing up to 200 images and even allows image acquisition while a computer or network connection is unavailable. Optional magnetic battery charger connection in an X-ray table and wall stand Bucky cabinet provides the added benefit of constant battery charging capability for the 17”x17” C-Series. All thin and lightweight, the complete C-Series line provides detector room sharing functionality that registers panels across multiple workstations to maximize continuous productivity between rooms or for portable use. Ideally formatted for all tabletop extremity exams as well as for pediatric or neonate imaging, the Rayence 10”x12” wireless format, like the large format C-series, has built-in auto triggering technology that signals the start of image capture without direct X-ray generator integration to expand C-Series use across a wide range of any pre-existing analog or digital X-ray equipment.
All Rayence C-Series wireless detectors are manufactured with a seamless, IPX6 water-resistant, magnesium alloy and unibody construction and combined with a shock, vibration, and scratch resistant carbon fiber composition makes them well-suited for demanding imaging environments.
The C-Series detectors are equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery having a battery life of four hours, a dual bay battery charger, two additional batteries, and a three year manufacturer warranty.
“Rayence continues to build upon its legacy of new and innovative X-ray products,” said Bill Nicholas, Marketing Manager of Rayence Inc. “Our new design and increased functionality makes the new C-Series detectors a vital component in all imaging environments,” Nicholas continued.
